Micro sd card not working

I have a sony micro sd hc 16 gb card which i have been using for a year now and i use it with my xperia sp but yesterday suddenly a notification come saying micro sd card removed. And after that my card is not detected in my phone or in my pc.. I have also tried a card reader. But no results from that too...pls help it contains 10 gb of important data.....

You've got 16 GB of data on a memory card and it's not backed up? What were you thinking?
Memory cards can fail at any time without warning, and that seems to have happened to yours.

You should have backed up the data to a hard drive or to optical discs each day or week instead of letting it get to 10 GB without a backup.
