Trying to snap in a 12v corsair fan for a PSX encased laptop, I have a small fan that wont suffice for cooling .... it looks like it blows air to the sides all around the fan.

Was wondering if there was some slice method for some 12v power to the fan, I know USB would give me 5v and probably pass inertia and work but was hoping for full speed since it would boost my morale LOL.

Also this mobo has two USB ports and for gaming I will probably need both those ports for controllers :( (2Player)

Splice into >?<

Thanks in advance.

Update on my knowledge and a better question,

I read soldering the fan to the mobo's battery leads - + would work for a continuous 12v rail powering the battery the way I need.

My question now is how would i find the + and - for the mod.

I just bought a multimeter Inovo3320 and really don't know how to use it... someone help me understand and learn plz :D

oh... and THANK YOU in advance guys your all GREAT!!!

Still need help solving where to solder to, the mobo connects to the battery with 9 gold leads, two on each end are longer so like this.... ||iiiii||

Do i need a test light to find the 12v + and - before i test with multimeter?
