AMD FX 6300 Temp Check

Hi all.

Setup
ASUS M5A97 LE mobo
AMD FX 6300 clocked at 4.0ghz
patriot ram 8gb 1866
CM TX3 cpu cooler
XFX r7870 gpu
750 watt psu

my temps are
idle 43 C
max load from prime95 at 57C
regular use is like 47C to liike 50C

voltages
1.2V (but my cpuid says 1.3V) cpu
1.16 NB

i hope i'm not missing any other information but i was just wondering if these temps are stable and safe for my rig and also if i could possibly overclock a little bit more? I turned off turbo too.

the m5a97 LE isnt made for overclocking (no heatsink on the vrms)
and that tx3 cooler isnt a very good one, you should get an hyper 212 instead.

Safe temperatures for AMD fx- cpus are :

<62c for core
<72c for socket

awesome thanks! I think my CPU is bad now cuz it idles at 40C on default settings.
