R9 270 or GTX 760 ? ill be playing games at 1600x900

What gpu are the beter one and are it wise to pay that extra money for the gtx and will I play all new games on high with one of these cards ?

The GTX 760 is significantly better, but either card will play all new games at high settings at 1600x900.

With that resolution you will be playing at. The R9 270 will be more than enough to play it.

Considering you might want to upgrade your monitor to 1080p later on, the 760 would be much better.

are the upgrade / card urgent? there a new amd card is out on early sept (Sept 2, i heard)..

Usually new card means better/lower price for older gen/model amd card...
(not sure about nvi one, but it may also response in price cut a week later)

I'm still saving and these are my to options as for the screen ill keep ar 1600x900 as its a new 20inch led a bought I heard the R9 285 are also on the way
