Hello,
I ask the great community of tom's Hardware to help me with a slight problem.

I recently performed a full system restore on my old HP Pavilion a1600n and of course I received the CODE Purple error associated with the system configuration. All of the original components and hardware are present and installed. Now, I have been doing some research and there seems to be a fix using the command prompt by using the keystroke Shift+F10 when the system configuration error comes up. Sounds easy but nothing happens when I try Shift+F10. Is there a different keystroke that is associated with this particular HP model?

P.S. I was using the original HDD as a temporary drive for another PC running Windows 7.
