I was reading that in order for an Intel Ivy bridge CPU to work with the Z68 chipset, you need to do a BIOS update. So my question is, is there a mobo very similar to this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... but that is compatible with Ivy bridge CPUs without a BIOS update?

More about : similar mobo z68 chipset works ivy bridge bios update

Okay now I have another question. Which one is better: https://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-p8z77vlk or https://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gaz9... I am mainly using my PC for gaming, but is paying the extra money on the gaming 7 worth it? Also what features specifically for gamers does the gaming 7 have, because I don't play games with high graphics like BF4. I mainly play League of Legends and Maplestory.

Well when there is the special features I personally think it's pointless. The Gigabyte can support up to 3200MHz for RAM which is pointless as a standard 1600MHz or 1866MHz is perfect for gaming. Everything else is just common. If you don't mind spending $40 extra then go for it but to be honest I don't see the point.
