ATX 12V and EPS 12V on my psu, which one should I connect?

So my motherboard says it needs an 8 pin ATX 12V but is it okay to plug an EPS 12V into it? I heard it provides more stable power to the CPU?... Thanks

As far as I can tell they are basically the same thing. Use whichever one reaches the socket best!

Okay then I will use the 4+4 pin connector because I have an 8350.
