Hello, I am building a gaming pc for 1440p gaming. Can someone please review my build and give some feedback? I would not mind a better recommendation but please try to keep the price below 3500 including os and peripherals. Please no case recommendations because I like that case. If someone has a better mobo recommendation please keep it in the asus rog series compatible with the rog front base panel.

Solution
Then get a ROG HERO instead.

Also the COSMOS II is extremely overpriced.

The PSU is enough for 2way SLI GTX780s, 3way SLI is NEVER worth it and is a massive waste of money.

Shaved off A LOT of unnecessary cost and changed to SLI GTX780s which is a lot more powerful.

I want a mobo compatible with the rog front base panel and only asus rog mobos are compatible with them. I agree with the sli gtx 780s though and the ssd and hard drive. With regards to the psu, is it enough to power the 780s and maybe one more if i want to upgrade to 3 way sli? And why is the case changed to the cosmos se and not the cosmos ii?

Just check if you really need the speed above 1600 ram. watch the linus tech tips video about ram, you might be surprised. Yours is really similar to mine though. I went with the benq XL270Z though for G sync. And yeah 780 SLI over TI. the price doesnt justify the performance gain IMO. anyways have a look at my build and see what ya think. Go with the above build, but go 850 series since its newer than 840 and well just better. If you dropping that amount of dollars on a gaming rig, a few dollars on a ssd REALLY wont matter. Also Linus chose the h220 over the h100i and h220 got 5 eggs so something to consider there. Thanks for the question though, its nice to see somebody else in my shoes :)

Those reviewers, if they don't like them then that is their problem, not mine. I like the front panel and I want it on my build. If I don't like it later, I could always use the oc panel included with the asus rog maximus vi extreme and that is why I chose it in the first place

I am sorry but your suggestion along with the above build goes over my target of 3500 dollars. Thanks for your contribution though!

Sorry I meant go with the suggestion by Novuake. My build is worked out for my budget, I was just suggesting you have a look at it, see what ya think. I like novuakes idea, but I'm finding trouble with why people pick a certain mobo over others. in some cases the mobo is the most expensive thing people add. Sure its the nerve center of the system, but does it really benefit the computer setup most? what advantage does a 450+ mobo have over a 200-250 mobo with the same components inside?

so 3 way SLI is a bottleneck in itself? I read a couple reports about 2 titans pawning 4 titans. I thought that the stress by technology just isnt there to use the extra cards? if you were gaming at say 16k resolution would 4 titans all be used? or does it not matter, 3 or 4 cards just start to bottleneck?
