i have a "Corsair Builder Series CX600 600 watt 80 Plus".
the minimum for a gtx 770 is 600w. but what do they mean by minimum. like you can but you shouldn't. or you'll be fine if you do. last thing i wanna do is break something.

- also is this psu even capable of running it, i always read stuff like it need 6 and 8 pin connectors which it has but they need to be 12v with 42 amps. and i dont know what that means.

other components i should mention, a i7 4core cpu, and 3 led case fans.

thanks

EVGA 600B is slightly better than the CX 600w. I'd recommend a bare minimum of a XFX (or equal quality manufacturer) 550w. If you're going with something for overclocking or stuff like that a 650w will give you plenty of headroom.

Corsair's lower price line up isn't the best... If anything they are some of the most problematic ones. Any unit that you can list on the lower end, there's probably one that you can list that'll out perform it. (maybe not the 430w, that thing goes for like 20$ sometimes... but still).

depends the vs and cx series aren't good, avoid the NEX series from evga but the rest from them is fine

cx corsair 600w has the cables needed and 49A on the 12v rail and meets the recommendation of a system with gtx770 which is 42A therefore will be more than enough.you dont need to buy another unit since you own it! it will run your setup.however it is true that it isnt a quality unit but not a bad one either.! a mediocre one at best i would say, so it cannot be recommended for serious overclocking and running close to its limits.!

i never overclock, so if don't overclock its fine? i mean i don't wanna take unnecessary risks.
