I'm wondering if this monster is gonna fit in this case, I read in this thread that it can fit in the case if you remove the hard drive bays but that of course was an answer for that case hehe, it says in the AeroCool website that the max length space available for PCI slots is 295mm but i couldn't find the ACTUAL lenght of the card so if any of you could help me and confirm it DOES fit in the case that would help me alot i just need confirmation it does fit with or without the hard drive bays since im just gonna use 1 of them right, i don't mind removing some.

This is gonna be my first build here is the rig im getting if anyone was wondering:
CPU: FX-8320 @3.5GHz
CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
MOBO: ASUS M5A97 R2.0
RAM: Kingston HyperX BEAST Kit (2x4) 8GB DDR3 @1866MHz
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
GPU: Gigabyte R9 270X Windforce 2GB DDR5
PSU: Corsair CX600M 80+B
CASE: AeroCool Strike-X GT Devil Red Mid Tower

again this is my first build so if you have any sugestions please enlight me and thanks in advance.

Yes a 2x4 GB is better for its dual channel rather than a single channel. The dual channel usually improves performance by 5%. Sapphire has been one of the biggest and best AMD GPU currently. They have great support and their prices are cheaper and will perform similar to Asus or Gigabyte. Yes you can change the motherboard. It should be better than the one you have now. You don't really need a gold certificate for gaming, a bronze will do unless you want to be energy efficient and only save 5%. That's a better build. But if you are not getting an SSD, I recommend either 1.5TB or 2TB.
The GPU length will fit without a problem at all and no removing any drive bays. The GPU length is 271mm if you are curious, so about 20mm remaining.

I have some recommendations.
Since you have an air cooler which tend to be big, I recommend upgrading the RAM to a shorter and more clearance space RAM. Try G.Skill Ripjaws X Series which is only slightly more expensive.

For the AMD GPU, try Sapphire they are currently the best for these R9 Series and one of the biggest brands.

The PSU isn't a good choice at all, I recommend going with Antec, EVGA, SeaSonic, Thermaltake or XFX.
Here's a PSU tier list if you are interested.

Have you considered an SSD for your OS and maybe a few games?

If the build is for gaming, you can get cheaper RAM... 1600Mhz cas9 is really the minimum that you need. Anything past that you're just paying for 1 or 2 extra fps per notch up...

Get yourself a stronger PSU like legend suggests.

Get a gigabyte 970a ud3p, It'll overclock slightly better because it has a few extra phases.

Thanks im relieved that it will fit, now the thing with the RAM is that i live in méxico and where im getting them from they don't have 1600 ram kits nor the G.Skill brand only Kingston i want to get a 2x4 kit cause i just don't like how it looks with only 1 stick but i mean that's not even a problem i could go with the HyperX Fury Black 8GB @1600MHz for 15~ usd cheaper if it really makes no difference,
Can you please explain to me why Sapphire is better than Gigabyte, should i get the Sapphire one?, and for the PSU i read the list and holy moly i didn't know the CX series were bad in fact i got told they were good for gaming, i saw some PSU's i could get here and the one that i really liked was RM650 80+G for about 30~usd more which is not bad and i can afford it since the PSU is the most important part in a rig, also changing my MOBO (as Calnin suggested) for a GA-970A-UD3P is a good choice? i really don't know alot about MOBO's, i do plan in OC my cpu however it seems the GA one is the best choice here.
Also SSD's are much more expensive here so im not planning on getting one just now i think i'll be fine with an HDD.
How is the new rig looking now?
CPU: FX-8320 @3.5GHz
CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB DDR3 @1600MHz
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
GPU: Gigabyte R9 270X Windforce 2GB DDR5
PSU: Corsair RM650 80+G
CASE: AeroCool Strike-X GT Devil Red Mid Tower

thanks again in advice this is really helpful.

Alright, thank you so much you really helped me alot here, as for the HDD i had a 300GB HDD for 3 years and it was the worst cause i love editing/gaming and that takes alot of space so i had to delete alot of games and some videos i made because i would end up with 10GB of space left lol, i recently got a 1TB HDD and im happy with it right now im at 600GB of free space and i already have all my tools for editing/games installed so i think im gonna go with 1TB and save a lil bit of money i could use for peripherals and such, thank you so much again.

Once again, glad to help you. PM me if you need extra help. Don't mind selecting the solution.
