Hi everyone, I just bought a LG W2363D (120hz monitor), and when I plugged it in some strange things happened:

As you can see, the whole left half of the monitor isn't working properly, there's some horizontal lines flickering in the right half and sometimes the whole monitor just goes black and comes back to that original state (as seen in the picture above) after a few seconds.

My video card is Nvidia 9600 GSO and i'm using the provided Dual Link DVI-D cable.

I tried unplugging the cable, turning the power off and then back on but nothing works.

At the moment i'm considering the following problems:

1) Monitor is faulty

2) The DVI-D cable is faulty.

3) The video card doesn't support the monitor somehow

When i unplug the DVI cable, it appears a message telling me the cable's not receiving any signal, but this time there's no flickering and the whole screen is working fine, which makes me believe it's the cable's fault.

I'm a little bit worried and could use any help. So, what do you guys think?

Try changing the resolution, maybe change the cable. If that doesn't work, your monitor is probably faulty, you would have to either buy a new one or put that one into repair.

Just tested it with an HDMI lead on my PS3 and the same thing happened (this time the right half wasn't working), which means the monitor is faulty. Thanks for the help
