Hello! I play a lot games and do some art, like cartoon fan art and other things, I would like to now if this build will last four years, Thanks!

Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VII GENE LGA 1150

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz)

Fan: Noctua NH-D15 SSO2 D-Type Premium CPU Cooler

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 750G2

Ram: G.SKILL Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM

Graphics Card: XFX R9 290 Double Dissipation- 4 Gig

Case: Cooler Master CM Storm Scout 2 ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Hard Drive: Some old 2TB Western Digital I have :p

SSD: Samsung Electronics 840 EVO-Series 500GB

Thanks! One question, should I ditch the i7 and go with a 3.5 i5, then get a better graphics card? Budget is really my big issue, I can upgraded it completely in 4 years through, Thanks!

Games are beginning to use more than 4 cores. If you're intending to keep this PC for a long time then you should stick with the Intel i7 as it'll save you money. There's not much point spending more than that on a GPU unless you intend to play at high resolution (1440p, 1600p, 1800p, 4k..)

Yup, the default expectation is 60 fps.
I would go with it like this for now, and in the future OC the CPU and maybe try to get in there another GPU for Crossfire.
However, if you`re not stuck on Ultra settings, you should get 4 years out of this build.

Ty! Really all I expect is mid on 60 until four years, thats when I'm going to actually make a big setup
