G3258 vs i5 4690k plus r9 270x

I want to build a pc, I dont know if I want to take g3258 (pentium) or a i5 4690k. Its a mini itx so I wont upgrade it too much. I will pair it up with maybe a 780ti in the future. I will have both about 4.4ghz - 4.8ghz. I dont want it to bottleneck it too much.

If you wanna know which is better intel is a good brand.

The i5-4690K is the much more capable chip, and the 4 cores will play modern CPU- dependent games better. You'll want to make sure that it's compatible with your mobo, though.

Dual core vs Quad on the same gen CPU and the I5 wins all comparisons. The Pentium is just a budget chip that is competing with lower level AMD CPU's.
