Help! Chose my D: disk as swap in linux, now I cannot access the files

The swap partition is an independent section of the hard disk used solely for swapping; no other files can reside there. If any files are already on that partition prior to assigning it as a swap partition, those files will be lost.

Before giving them up as lost, you could try a partition repairer/rebuilder.
