I planning to buy corsair h100. The problem is there is issue about the "other" motherboard that the screws didn't fit in when you installing this cooler. My question is what motherboard would be possible to fit those screws without modding or adding something in the screws that would solve the problem.

The only issue I am aware of along those lines would be from a socket 2011 motherboard which has different size mounting screws (M4) than most but according to Corsair, it comes with all hardware for mounting to current boards including 2011. I know of no issues such as that you're describing

Okay, again going back to socket 2011, it does not use a backplate at all, the waterblock will screw directly onto the motherboard (with M4 screws) - all other motherboards do use a backplate, either the motherboard original backplate or one included with the cooler
