my processor is overclocked to 4.2ghz & I'm using 1080p. I am wondering if I will have any bottlenecking problems by the CPU although i'll upgrade it next year when the broadwell comes.

You will get better frame rates with a better CPU so yes it is a bit of a bottleneck, but it shouldn't ruin your gaming experience unless you are playing something that is CPU hungry, or something that is optimized to use more than four cores such as Crysis 3. If you have the option with your motherboard and the money, you will get some benefit from one of the newer Vishera CPU's such as the FX 6300, 6350, 8320, or 8350.
