i was installing some new components into my computer,it all worked fine and i was in windows,i Only connected the HD audio coming from my 300R to the HD Audio on my motherboard,no other panel ios were connected (i didnt have internet and i didnt remember the intel setup),i plugged in my headphones to the front panel headphone jacks,my PC turned off,the red led near the CPU flickered, now when i try to turn my computer on the fans are not starting with 100%,no image, nothing.

I am very scared that i caused perm damage to the motherboard, but wondering if it can happen since the HD audio was plugged in correctly i thing,or perm damage to my power supply, which i dont know why would happen either.

Any help is very welcomes, thank you

EDIT:seems like my laptop created extra threads by mistake o_O,can someone please delete the extras

This definitely sounds like a short condition. Make extra sure that you have the front panel audio connector plugged into the front panel headers on the motherboard itself and not to another header type (USB or firewire for example).

If correctly attached, it is possible that the front panel connector/ports are defective. I would disconnect and not use them (or return/exchange the case).

Thank you Colgeek!
Btw now one case fan doesnt spin and my graphics card doesnt spin up either, but the psu fans are spinning and the motherboard has a green light on,am starting to think that the case shorted my PSU

Disassemble the entire rig and carefully inspect each part for damage before carefully re-assembling. Pay close attention to the stand-offs used to mount the mobo to the case (like remove any extra standoffs that you aren't using for example).

I am starting to assemble my rig outside of my PC *On cardboard box*,i connected only my gpu and turned on,
GPU doesnt spin, both CPU fans are spinning,Can i check connecting my upgrade GPU *R9 290* because my old GPU is the one that i think died,or will it be too risky for my new card ?

BTW even though both CPU fans are spinning they are not on maximum force, which is strange
i disconnected one power connector from the CPU and tried turning it on,i got a red light for under power so i don't think the Motherboard is dumb/dead

two green lights on the R9 290,both fans spin but no image, the mobo fans i am connecting are spinning up pretty hard
can the no image be a result of driver issue as i do not have radeon drivers installed in this pc,only Nvidia
can the no image also be a result of a hard drive whos sata connection is pretty delicate,it caused my pc to not start up many times untill i connect the sata properly *the hard drive hasnt failed on me yet*

i have no extra power supply,i might be able to grub one tommorow, but it would probably be low quality generic, the psu that i am using now is a cx600watt,which i think is not so great aswell

EDIT:my HDD spins up aswell
