I recently bought a msi a58m e33 motherboard along with a Kingston 2GB DDR3 RAM (KVR1333D3N9/2G). My question is that whether the ram will work or not on my motherboard. Please tell me fast.

I know you got your answer already, but this is just more of a "teach a man to fish" informaiton.

Any motherboard for custom built pc (so not HP, Dell, etc) will have that information at their companies website. All you need to do is google msi a58m e33 and the first or second link will be the direct link to MSIs website and the page on your motherboard and from there you should easily find the memory compatibility sheet.

Now the OEMS dont constantly update that list, and they dont have the time or desire to test every ddr3 stick of ram created, but if the ram you are looking at matches the cas timings and voltage of the ram you are looking at, then odds are it will work. With that said, it makes your life much easier to buy memory...

With that said, it makes your life much easier to buy memory from that list, because when your motherboard ram slot goes bad and your memroy stick is not on the list, then you get to be in limbo between the RAM and MOBO company blaming it on each other.
