Hi @ all,

I bought it for 500€, the specs are really good for the Price, 1TB HDD, AMD A6 APU QUAD Core, 8GB DDR3 RAM. All i do with this Thing is Internet, YouTube, Mailing, Music listening ect... NO Gaming or Photoshop or other intensive Tasks.

i surf the Internet with google Chrome and using Jajuk to listen to music. 2 Applications open and the Fan Speed is at 72%... and sometimes higher, its annoying as hell.

It has Warranty and is new, is this normal ?

My 7 Year Old Intel Pentium Acer is more quiet than this.

What should i do ?

You do realize that means that it slows the CPU down when 'it' determines that would be too 'hot' to push it, which immediately affects performance. A A6 already sucks, this will just make it worse, in performance.

First a AMD A6 is nothing 'really good', but will do what your asking it to do (personally I seen cheaper here in the States, where as low as $249 for something similar). Now also DO remember just because you have Google Chrome open that doesn't mean you have "1 application open". If you open Task Manager you will see multiple Chromes listed, due to the different Chrome apps or number of 'tabs' you have open this can REALLY be "10-20" application open. Just so you have some 'context' as to why your Fan Speed is at 72%.

That said, if the noise is too loud, then you should bring it back as a fan may be out of alignment. Unless of course your version of "Warranty" and "new" is you bought this 8 months ago, which then is a DIFFERENT story. If this is more then 30 days old then you MAY need to just buy CANNED AIR and BLOW OUT THE VENTS as the noise can be simply dust, skin flakes, hair, pets, smoke, etc. all bound up on the fans and 'clogging' things up.

I have only 2 Tabs opened, i know that each Tab in Chrome is a single Task. Avast is running in the Background and Jajuk, thats it. I bought it 2 Months ago, because i wasn't home at the time (because of Work) i ordered it and they delivered it at my Home, my girlfried didn't opened it.

The Toshiba is my DTR, its always on a dust-free table, we have no pets and are smokefree people.

Im from Germany.
