Hi
I recently upgraded my computer with:
Asus a88xm-plus
A10-7850k
KINGSTON HyperX 4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 non-ECC DIMM

Old Setup:
Asus M4A78LT
AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 240e Processor
Radeon HD5570
4gb ram 1333mhz

I didn't really get as good performance as i wanted from this new setup.Playing games like wow and other games that isn't really demanding made me think that my new setup almost is worse fps wise. Shouldn't i see a increase in fps? Could there be any software/driver problems or something else that limits my new setup? I now wonder how i would get the best out of this setup, if i have to i could even spend another 100$ to get this rig going better. I have the radeon HD5570 from the old setup too that i could use if it would improve my performance? I'm open for any suggestions of how to get up those frames.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
You need more RAM. The APU uses system RAM for video memory. On your old set-up, the 5570 had it's own dedicated memory, leaving 4 GBs for system usage. Now, your APU takes from your 4 GBs of RAM and leaves you with too little. I recommend getting 8 GBs. This will improve your performance.

Another problem you might be experiencing is heat issues. When a processing unit heats up, it clocks down itself, reducing power consumption and heat and productivity. What cooler are you using?

Like the other response you need more ram and faster ram. Since the CPU/GPU are sharing memory they're also sharing bandwidth. Chips like the 7850k do a lot better with DDR3-2133 then 1600. I'd get a 8GB or 16GB dual channel 2133mhz kit.

Thanks alot for such fast answers! I will get some better RAM, is there any specific that u would recommend?
Will 100€ be enough for some pretty good RAM? I currently use the stock CPU fan that came with the box, is there any good and cheap cooling that i could buy too?

Thanks again!

Edit: would something like this be good or should i really get 16gb?
CORSAIR DDR3 2133MHz 8GB KIT 2x4GB 240 DIMM Dual channel Unbuffered 11-11-11-27

Not sure prices in € as I'm Canadian but that should be enough to pick up a DDR3-2133Mhz 8GB dual channel kit. I've always liked Corsair and G.Skill but other brands are good too.

For a good cooler that does better then the stock ones but doesn't break the bank I've always liked the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. It is pretty large though so make sure it fits your case before buying. If you need something smaller you'll probably have to do a bit of looking around.

For ram, just make sure you get 2 sticks, so if you want 8gb get 2x4gb sticks. That way dual channel is enabled which speeds things up vs single channel. For specific ram, get anything rated well, has lower timing.

For cpu cooler, the coolermaster hyper evo 212 is pretty much the best there is without hitting $100. It normally goes around $30 USD. Nothing below or above makes sense at its just the best at any given price short of $100.

Hi again, i was starting to wonder something, would it be better to buy a new gpu for about 100$ instead of RAM or what would give better preformance, if so can i get a Gddr5 card or do i have to get a DDR3 one?
Thanks for answers!

Well, you bought the APU now. No harm in trying it out with the 2133mhz ram. Even when you throw in a discrete card further down the line, the fast ram will at least make up for the lack of L3 cache to some degree.
