Much of the time the bezel is there for screen support. You may be able to remove bezels but at the risk of leaving your screen and monitor components exposed. Easier and more safe to just purchase monitors with thin bezels. I personally love my Acer H236HLbid monitors. The only thing that would make them better is if they had a VESA mount.
If the bezel is not too thick it is not super distracting as you get used to it over time and you filter it out. Most of your attention is going to be focused on the main center monitor anyways with the outside two acting as periphery.
