Best gaming config for £1000/$1600

Budget Range: £1000/$1600

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming is most important, CAD software is second most important.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, looking for 144hz monitor

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any website will be fine

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU, Nvidia GPU

Additional Comments: Exclude the price of the graphics card as i already own a 780ti... I would like to spend £1000/$1600 on the other parts.

Wow, thanks for the replies, they both look great! However, i would like to buy the monitor separately, like 1000 on the computer, and extra 250 on the monitor.
