Hey whatsup fellas? :) This is the config that i've come up with to build my new system. It's for hardcore media production and gaming slightly above my budget but yet ok.

Config : ( NOTE : i've put up multiple options in some but do tell me your opinion as well or from the ones that i've put up what's the best compatible config)

Proc : Intel core i5 4690 (Non-overclockable)

Motherboard : Gigabyte GA Z97X UD5H (Over-clockable)

RAM : a) G.SKILL (8GB)

or

b) Corsair Vengenance PRO ( 8GB)

HDD : A)1TB WD BLUE CAVIAR

B)SAMSUNG 120GB EVO SSD

GRAPHICS : 1) GIGABYTE REV 2.0 760 GTX WINDFORCE SERIES 1.08 GHz

2) EVGA GTX 760 ACX SUPERCLOCKED 1.16 GHz

3) EVGA GTX 760 ACX DUAL SUPER-CLOCKED 1.18 GHz

4) ZOTAC gtx 760 10P 1.11GHz

POWER SUPPLY(PSU): CORSAIR HX 750W 80+ GOLD CERTIFIED

COOLING SYSTEM (WATER COOLED CPU COOLER): CORSAIR H100i or H80i

CASE FANS: COOLER MASTER (DEPENDING ON CASE AND COLOR)

CASE : 1) COOLER MASTER STORM TROOPER OR HAF SERIES (FULL TOWER)

2) RAIDMAXX AGUSTA 630BT (FULL TOWER),VIPER ( MID TOWER)

3) ROSEWILL BLACKHAWK ULTRA ( FULL TOWER)

Now these are the doubts that i have on this build:

a) I intend to install a CPU water cooler (H100i or H80i) but where i'm from it's a humid climate. So is it wise to install that ,wouldn't there be moisture formation?

b) When i put this config together in pc part picker the only compatibility issue that i found was the RAM showing 1.65 v and motherboard 1.5v so RAM would run at lower efficiency ,how do i fix that?

c) So i have a high end CPU but what would be a the ideal gpu to pair it with my budget being 300$ for GPU ?

Kindly let me know what you guys think.ASAP. THANKS FELLAS.

For 950 here is what I came up with. I was able to get a GTX 770 card. The sacrifice I had to make was to use only a HDD rght now, but you can easily just add an SSD latter. I was not able to put any of the cases you listed into the budget, there are different colors for this case, and you could always get an corsair 300r or the mid tower rosweill blackhawk in the same price range.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($223.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($31.35 @ Mwave)
Motherboard: ASRock H97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($79.99 @ Newegg)...
1) If you are not overclocking the CPU then watercooling is an absolute pointless waste of money. Just get yourself a coolermaster hyper 212 evo air cooler.

2) Just get RAM that uses the right voltage

3) 760 is not bad, a R9-280X is GTX 770 performane at near 760 price range.

If choosing between the SSD and HDD, Both is highly prefered, if you will be fine with the 120GB space then the SSD is very nice (but will not increase game performance any).

I prefer the blackhawk out of the 3 cases, but cases are very user preference.

What is your overal budget and what parts do you already have and then I can put a build together for you.

Yeah actually i do not intend to OC the CPU... and i'd like to have min 2133 Mhz speed on RAM.I wanted to install the latest haswell CPU's ..and i5 was the only one in my budget. But apart from the Overclockable Mobo's i didn't find the Gigabyte H97 HD3 which is non-overclockable interesting for my non-clockable CPU.Am sort of in a dilemma here lol :D. Pairing a high end cpu i liked the i5 4690 but what gpu do i pair it with? Am not a Radeon fan.

For gaming and i5 is pletny, you will see no bennefit in an i7 vs an i5 in gaming ( now doing video editing/transcoding or 3d modeling, yes you will notice a difference).

I prefere ASUS and ASROCK both other gigabyte nowdays, ASROCK has some decent H97 boards, is there a specific feature/need you had?

What is your overall budget and needs and I can suggest a build for you.

As i mentioned earlier...am in need of a system that can handle graphic intensive stuff...all the recent games on the market to all the ones that are yet to be released for the next 4-5 years maybe lol. :D Also to handle video and music production too. My budget is around 850$ but i can stretch upto 950$. What would you ideally suggest? So that i'd have no problem fearing any compatibility maybe for the next 7-9 years :D
