I am trying to hook a DVD player up to my rear projection 2001 Mitsubishi Diamond WS-65908 65" 1080i HD Television. The first day I used it it worked beautifully, no problems at all. The very next morning when I went to turn the tv on, visual didnt work at all. I went through all of the inputs and I could only get audio but no visual. No matter how I switch up the cables or the inputs I can't get visual to work. The tv has been sitting untouched in a garage for 2 years in Southern California. I took the back off of the tv and the bulbs were still working. I did notice that there is a liquid dripping from the middle green projector very slowly onto the board.

If you only don't have visuals through the input the DVD player is connected to, then could be that. If there is just no picture at all in general, but the TV is powered on, check to see if you can change volume and see if the bar moves, if you don't see the bar either the TV will need to be repaired, or it could be that a picture setting has been turned all the way down (ie brightness/contrast/etc).
Otherwise I'm not sure what you're looking for as there was no specificity to the post.

My apologies, that was written before the post had been re-edited for completion. I would still test what is mentioned above but beyond that, may be best to seek manufacturer assistance.Sorry for the lack of specificity. The bulbs are working, so I can see the volume bar, the inputs in the top left of the screen, and a blue screen when It comes up.

No worries, when I first went to answer it wasn't completed and I didn't think to consider you were editing the post. Based on that info it's definitely weird. It's odd that the TV is generating a picture but no components can connect. Are you able to test like an analog coax connection to see if that will work properly (if not already tested)?

The concurrent parts of the DVD player and the tv are RCA ports, the green blue red visual ports, and s video ports.

Did you have other components than the DVD player to test the other available ports?

I have tested every port on the tv with two different DVD players. The only port I have not tested is the VGA port because I don't have cables.

That's unfortunate, at this point I would definitely look into getting a new TV, as the cost of repairing faulty/broken ports or if there is further damage on the board probably out-weighs the cost of getting a new TV.
