Every device in my house can connect to the wifi, but not my desktop

Hello all,

A few days back my verizon mifi hotspot 4510l started having problems and was unable to connect to the internet with any of the devices in the house. As of yesterday, all problems vanished, except I can no longer connect to the wifi with my desktop.

I am not very tech savvy, but I have tried reinstalling the pcie wifi card that I have, updating the drivers, and using a usb wifi card, all to no avail. I am currently using a Asus pce-n15 wifi pcie card which has never given me problems before now.

When I boot up my computer I can see the wifi signal at full bars, but when I try to connect to it, It tells me that I am unable to connect to the wifi and asks if I would like to troubleshoot.

When I tried using my backup usb wifi card, my computer did not install the card's software correctly and I was still unable to connect to the wifi. Are these two problems connected?

If anyone has any idea what is going on I would be extremely grateful for some help.

Thanks in advance.

Well cover me in bacon grease and throw me on a grittle that actually worked! Here I was thinking there was something wrong with the desktop because it was the only device not connecting the internet! Thank you for you help!!
