Hello!

I am here, seeking for help. The problem is, I just recently bought a Gainward GT 610 2GB DDR3 Graphics Card, and I tried to play League of Legends, and I got 25 FPS on Very Low @ 1024x768. What the heck is going on? Any tips or advice? I have installed the latest drivers. Please do not start talking about buying a new one, understand, that I am not that rich to buy a high-end GPU, because I don't really care about BF3, Skyrim and others. I just want to play CS:GO and League of Legends.

Thank you.

Go into the Nvidia control panel and on the left hand side, click "manage 3D settings". In global settings, scroll down to "power management mode" and select "prefer maximum performance" in the drop-down menu. Also the GT 610 isn't built for gaming, it's a media GPU.

But still, League of Legends and CS:GO don't have really big requirements. I used to run them both with my Sapphire Radeon HD 3650, no sweat, but the card was broken.

May I ask if your frame-rates ever improved? What are your overall computer specs?

If you can return that card for refund. As Modernwar99 said that is a media card. Go on E-bay and get you a GT-240 with 1gig DDR3 or better a GT-240 with 1 gig DDR5 for around 40 to 65 dollars used. Both of these card "do not need the extra six pin connector for power" . These our older cards but will run League of Legends a hell of a lot better than the GT 610 and at the same price point or cheaper.
