PSU overvolting problem?

Having issues with my PSU. Under normal "idle" conditions it runs fine. My rails are all within .1 volt of spec according to the BIOS. However, start a game (watchdogs, MWO and WoT) and within 10-20 mins it resets and I get a message from the Mobo saying it detected an over voltage situation and saved itself.

My limited computer knowledge leads me to believe there is some sort of issue with power to the GPU. I can run burn tests on my CPU with no issues, usually hitting 80 C when pushed. All components were NIB. Only had the rig up for a month and it's a recent problem. No OC, everything is running stock.

Is it possible for the GPU to be drawing more current than its supposed to or is the PSU supposed to keep it limited? What is the best way to figure out what is wrong? I don't trust Seasonic to actually push the PSU if I send it back to them to test. Anything I can do or am I SOL?

components:
Seasonic x 750w
Asus z87-a
I5 4670k
Crucial Ballistix sport 8gb
EVGA GTX770 FTW
Creative Soundblaster Z

It could also be a motherboard voltage regulator issue. The VMRs surrounding the CPU socket. Or it could be a false positive, nothing to worry about. Without expensive test equipment, it will be hard to say. But your components are all top notch.

Do you have some Asus monitoring program running in the background? Something like Asus PC Probe?

I don't know. Never used it. I was going to tell you to turn it off if that was what was doing the reporting. It has been known to be a bit flaky. There must be a setting in BIOS that is enabled to report that sort of thing.
