I have 64bit and 8 ram but my program shows it is running as 32 bit program. How do I get the 32 to run as 64?

I want to up my 32 bit to 64. Any reason to do this?

If the program in question has not been written in 64 bit then there is nothing you can do. The majority of software is still 32 bit which runs fine. Most programs do not need to address the larger RAM configurations that 64 bit OS's support. If your 32 bit version is OK then carry on with it is my opinion.

Some programs still don't have 64 bit versions. 32 bit applications work fine even faster. 64 bit application can use more RAM and that is of significance sometimes.

buy the company the make the software, make them rewrite it in 64bits. then profit.

You have to buy a 64 bit version of the program, if there is one. As you have noticed though, 32 bit programs run perfectly fine under a 64 bit OS.
