Hi All,
This is my build in over 10 years. I need a multiple monitor trading computer, but also an all around home commuter for photo storage / editing and such.

Trying to minimize costs but not skimp on anything.

Ok so I've made this build considering Windows 7 Professional and the monitor was included in the price.

If you could tell us if you would like a upgrade or an actual new pc and how big your budget is. Also if you'll need a new OS or maybe some new monitors.

If you could answer all this, then I'll put together a proper list of stuff that fits your trading/editing/storage needs. ;)

EDIT: and by the way, export in the format BBCode or Plain text when exporting from pcpartpicker next time :)

Hi NicoM - I appreciate your help.
This will be a new PC. I'm currently using a Mac, but need a PC for my trading platform. My budget for the computer alone is $1,000 to $1,200. I'll then get two monitors to start out 22-24" models. Eventually, I may add 4 monitors.

Here's a explanation of each of the parts, and why i've chosen them. ;)

CPU: Compared to the 5800K this will easily blow it away at over double the performance (info: cpubenchmark.net).
COOLER: Noctua is defently the place to go for silence, this will be whisper quiet in your system and keep your CPU at good temperatures.
MOTHERBOARD: This had a decent score on the site, at a good price. It's also m-atx.
MEMORY: It's better to have a 2x4GB kit, most motherboards can run dual-channel memory (which requires you have two sticks!), though the change is small this kit is cheaper and probably also a bit better.
STORAGE: I changed it to a 128GB SSD, might not seem to be much but should defently be able to hold all your programs, then keep all files (video, pictures etc.) on the HDD
VIDEO CARD: Your chosen card is pretty expensive for just something that will output to 4 screens, this low/mid end gaming card does also have 4 outputs which could be used for your chosen ASUS monitors inputs with the right adapters. Yes it does have two fans but in anything that's not games or rendering, these fans will run at low rpm (which translates directly to being quiet!)
CASE: I took this CoolerMaster case because you would save about $50 on doing so, really up to if you want to go that $50 extra over budget to get the other case.
POWER: This 550w might not be fanless, or platinium, though at 550w if you fully stressed out the PC, you'll be looking at under 250w usage from the wall probably, running a power supply at low usage means it doesn't have to run at high rpm with the fan, so it would be quiet.
OS and MONITOR was something i took from your list (monitor is a fine choice i would say)

So i hope this helped you! This build would be a very powerful desktop and all-use machine with it's strong i7. :)
