Is AT&T "OK" for online gaming and streaming?

Hello everyone!

I have AT&T as my ISP and I am wondering whether or not 5.15Mbps download speed and 0.65 upload speed is enough for gaming on PC games like Battlefield 4 and or games like F2P games like WarFace or Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Thanks!

You probably won't reach the double digit latency times that are so sought after. If there are other people using the connection, depending on what they are doing, you might even spike up to 300+, at which point you're likely to experience minor lag spikes--at least, that was the case with me when I played WoW with similar connection speeds.

As long as you are the only person using it and not doing other internet intensive things then you'll be fine. I had the 6.0 service and my ping was fine. (usually 30-45ms on my favorite local server.) If it's for the house and many others are using it then you'll hate it. Done that as well.
