Post-Build Questions and Verification

I just finished up this build: THIS BUILD.

I'm happy with it thus far, but I have a few questions:

1.) I've plugged 2 case fans directly into the PSU. I have 1 more case fan that only came with a 3-pin connector. The MOBO only has 1 fan header, and it's a 4-pin. I've been told you should be able to fit a 3-pin to a 4-pin (just leaving 1 bare pin), but I cannot get the thing to fit. Am I just running into a technical difficulty or hard-to-fit pieces?

2.) I ran the 'Blend' test Prime95 for 1.5 hours. During 'Test 1', my temps on all cores typically stayed near 65c. However, during 'Test 2', they spiked to mid-to-upper 70s and maxed out at 83c. Is this a cause for concern? I'm using the stock heatsink, so I'm afraid those temps are a bit too high, but those temps are under 100% utilization of all 4 cores. Should I simply monitor my temps while doing the most intensive tasks I'd normally do and only worry if they reach that again?

If not, would some extra thermal paste make a significant difference (only the stock thermal paste is being used right now)? Or do I truly need an aftermarket cooler?

3.) Also, I ran the FurMark benchmark on my machine and my GPU temp maxed at 65c. This seems to be normal, but the benchmark is short that I wanted to verify that temp with you guys.

Solution
1) The 3 pin fan connection should fit. It is keyed to only go in one way.

2) Not bad for the stock cooler. In real life use, it won't be utilized at 100% continuously as in Prime95.

3) Good temps for Furmark.
The 3 pin connector will plug into a 4 pin on the motherboard. It will only fit one way.
I dont use Pirme95, you wont run your CPU at 100%.
Good temps for furmark. Try it in some games and see what temps you get, that is the true test.
