hiya people i was just wondering what i could do to make this abit quicker and better, yes i no i could change the motherbored and stuff but spent all my money on this, but want to ad more would more ram help the same. it was at 4.0ghz but the bored does it pump it to 4.2 im not sure how to do it but could i get someone to overclock this to 4.5 ghs cheers this is the spec thank you.

You definitely could attempt to Overclock the CPU but not unless you replace the stock cooler on it. There are a few options ranging from $20-$150. Depending on your goals there are a couple other upgrades that you could try. If you are going for pure gaming then Overclocking the GPU is your best bet to crank a few extra fps out of it. If you want to get better overall speed I'd recommend an SSD for the OS and the main programs. They are not overly expensive and you can get a 120GB for around $60. More RAM will most likely not help you any. Let me know your Goals and your price range for the upgrade and I may be able to help you more.

allready built pal, cost just under a 1000 and from england, yes i understand from a few people i should iv got another chip but its all done now just wondering what would help, sorry im new to all this.

yes thank you for that uv been a big help, i havent got the stock cooler now iv got the corsair h55 watercooling just put my clock up to 4.4ghs and everything seems fine i think new to all of this so hope iv done it right, lol the temps is at 43c dont no if thats good or not im on youtube and few other thing so thats not idle sorry if i dont make any sence its my first time, but im defo going to look into one of them SSD if you think it will help buddy. thanks michael

You're welcome. And 43C isn't terrible at 4.4GhZ. Just to be sure that the OC is stable you should run Prime95 on the blended setting for a while and if it passes post your max temp please. If your computer crashes just boot back into the bios and lower the Clock speed and increase the voltage until it is stable there are some great tutorials out there on how to do this properly and you have to be very careful especially when increasing the Voltage.

yes thank you for helping me, yea it did go up up and down from 43c to 47c yes i just put up the voltage up a little and the gpu iv just done a restart on my computer and it allways puts it back to 4.2ghz i really dont no what im doing to be honest with you buddy, i think im going to leave it at that for now and pay someone what can do it right, but m going to run that prime95 and see what it does im allways to scared to do anything like that. but im going to do it now. thanks again i will send you the pic of it so you can see what you think when its done, if i can do that. lol :)
