Before I start, I would like to say that I'm a 14 year old on a budget. I want to start recording Minecraft with OBS (not very resource intensive) and I'm very confused as to which rig would perform better. People have been telling me that this rig: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/nvcboss/saved/KwXJ7P (Pentium G3258 + GTX 650) would only get 20 fps while recording. In a test vid, it is is getting 100-370 fps, but that is only what the tester says (He doesnt use F3)
I also have this rig

It is basically an A10-5800K with a GTX 650 put on. Which will be better for recording Minecraft?
Personally, I think the Pentium build would be better and open to upgrades to i5/i7/Xeon. Am I correct?

Solution
Minecraft relies on strong single core performance, which the Pentium has. The GPU shouldn't matter much since that game can run on almost any GPU. Go with the Pentium.

Thank you.
Do you have a predicted FPS?

No, but if my old PC with a Pentium E2140 (which was the crappiest Pentium that came out in 2007) 1 GB RAM and a GeForce 9500GT could run it at a playable frame rate with high settings, your PC should handle it just fine :)
