I am building my first pc for gaming and I want something that is powerful and will last. Just want to know if there are any incompatibilities or anything I should change/upgrade. Price is not an issue at all.

mobo: MSI M power max ac
Case: thermaltake commander g42
Ram: corsair vengeance 8 GB
CPU: i7 4790k
CPU fan: ????
HDD: 3 GB Seagate
SSD: 128 GB Samsung
PSU: ????
GPU: gtx780 ti
Monitor: ???

Was given the mobo and case. Everything else is just what I have been looking at. Any help is appreciated!

Here I've attached a link to a build I threw together based on yours.

The changes I made were pretty minor. Mainly the larger SSD simply because you will find that 120GB fills up very fast and if you want to install any games on it then its worth the money for the extra space. That MOBO is great but MSI has released two versions of it a Z87 and a Z97. if you have the Z87 version you will have to do a bios update for it to work on the Devils Canyon platform. If price is not an issue you may consider a different case. The Thermaltake will work but the ease of installation may not be what you are looking for. I know that for this GPU you will have to remove a drive cage from it. The watercooling is my personal recommendation. This CPU is great for Overclocking and the watercooling will be a huge help if you decide to go that route. But there are air coolers that are great to and I can recommend some if you would prefer that. The monitor is more personal preference. You could if you want to stick to 1080P try a high refresh rate TN Panel which many gamers prefer or you could go with a slower but better color reproduction and viewing angles IPS panel. Or you could try 1440P which is more expensive but your GPU could handle it quite well. I wouldn't recommend a 4K display with only a single GPU setup but I know people who have done it with a card like that.
