Would drops from 90 to 70 fps be noticeable on a 120hz monitor?

I've been gaming on a 60hz monitor for a while, and I can clearly distinguish discrepancies when the fps drops from 60 to 40. I'm wondering if the inconsistency would be as noticeable when the fps drops from 90 to 70 on a 120hz monitor.

It shouldnt really be noticeable, but some people would notice the difference. A drop from 60 to 40fps would be more noticeable as the frame rate is nearly halved, compared to being lowered by about 20%.
