seagate 2TB with my iMac & macbook pro onto it as well. Permissions wont allow both - how do I change it?

I set up seagate 2TB with my iMac and want to also use it to transfer files from my macbook pro onto it as well. Permissions will only allow read only on the macbook pro. How can I change it so that I can use the Seagate 2TB with both computers please?

Either add your MBP account to the accepted user list or copy the files off and reformat the drive as fat32 and then put the files back on.
