Yes the Crossfire of a R9 290X you will get only up to 60FPS and in more depending on the game. But for Battlefield then that's about as far as you get on ultra with a 4K resolution.

My sapphire 280x cf on 4k gets me between late 30fps and 60fps on ultra with 2x msaa while playing BF4. So I would expect a 290x cf to get closer to 60fps average. As a 295x2 is way out of reach for me and many, a 290x cf is the next best option and would be my next upgrade a few months down the line! So I strongly recommend a 290x cf(here a 295x2 can get me 3 290x!).
