Before I proceed to warranty replacement and such, I just want to make sure that my GPU is fried.
Two days ago, while browsing the web, a sudden POP noise came from my computer followed by a force PC reboot then a burning smell.
After, my monitor wouldn't receive any signal and was just pitch black.
The fans were still spinning on my GPU so I was confused on whether the GPU was actually broken or not.
I currently removed the GPU and connected the monitor to my motherboard instead and this seems fine.
So ultimately, was the pop noise and smell from my GPU?
I can't see any broken or burnt area from the exterior of the GPU.
Any ideas?
