I was using the same home wifi connection for the phone and my laptop. All of a sudden, it stopped working for the laptop. It does not connect! troubleshooting says investigate router or access point issues..what could be the problem.

Solution
Some laptops have a wifi button that if you press on it gets deactivated. If that's not it then go to network connections/change adapter settings and make sure your wifi card is enabled.

If that's not it and your android device is working it's not likely the router but you can reset the router anyways and see if that helps. I'd do this last as more likely it's an issue with the laptop with what little you've described but you never know.

Please update us and let us know what works or if there's more to discuss.
