Hi!

I would like your opinion about a new gaming pc I would like to buy (in Hungary, price differ a bit) .

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard

Ram: 2 x Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR3 1600MHz KHX1600C9D3B1/4G

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz AM3+

SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB SATA3 SV300S37A/120G

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB SATA3 WD10EZEX

Videocard: at first I wanted an AMD R 7 265, is it worth it to spend a little more for a R 9 270?

PSU: here I dont know if 500 W would be enough, probably a master cooler ( i dont want any overclocking)

Case: whats a good/low priced case?

Thank you in advance

I would go with a G.Skill Ripjaws Series or Corsair Vengeance RAM if it is not beyond budget. But the one you listed is still good. I would change the SSD to a Samsung Evo (120GB). I would get a Seagate Barracuda which is as good but for a cheaper price.

Yes it is worth to get the R9 270 as it wouldn't bottleneck the CPU and will perform well at probably it's highest potential.

Yes 500W is more than enough. For a case, try Cooler Master or Corsair cases which have great air circulation for a reasonable price.

The r7 265 vs r9 270 is a decent step up. It all depends on the r9 270 you get though. Some have 1024 stream processors which is equivalent to the HD 7850 of the previous generation, and some have 1280 which is equivalent to the r9 270x. If you go for a r9 270, get one with 1280 stream processors. It'll perform quite a bit better.

As for your build, a XFX 550w would do nicely for any kind of future parts you're throwing in there like hard drives and what not and still provide a decent amount of headroom in the system.

If that's outside your budget range, then maybe EVGA 500B or 600B if you can. Otherwise if you can't then maybe a CX 500w, but I wouldn't go anywher eunder the CX 500w. The CX 500w probably one I hesitate to suggest for a system.
