I have a PNY gtx 780 and i have had it since December of last year and it ran amazing no problems at all then recently it started hitting 81c then it would throttle from 1006mhz to 846mhz and i checked for dust there is very little dust. What should i do i want it to run like new again but i don't wanna open it and void the lifetime warranty i was thinking of putting arctic silver 5 but again that would void the warranty and im not 100% confident i could put i back together

what should i do and could it be the thermal paste drying up ??

Dont bother with AS5. Use MX-4 instead.

Use compressed air can to blow any dust out of the heatsink and fans also.

Heat may have gone up due to higher ambient temp also.
