Basically i am trying to overclock my 8320 and ive just increased the multiplier to x19.5 from the original x18? and its now at 3.79GHZ and when i stress test it using prime95, it will not cause an error of any kind BUT the cpu gets throttled and when the thermal margin is 30 degrees and the VRM (im guessing it is that(im seeing 4 things in corsair link that say asrock motherboard and its the highest temp) is at 57 the clock drops down too 1300mhz from the 3800 it was previously at...
ive disabled all of the power saving stuff in the BIOS but i can almost guarantee i am missing something, i just need a bit of help, the cpu is cooled by a Corsair H100 and is staying at about 33 degrees

Any help to finding the solution to my problems will be hugely appreciated

Thanks

Don't use coretemp or any program the reads the temperature of cores, it will always be wrong on a FX series chip. You Speedfan and look at CPU temp to get an accurate
idea of what your temps are
