I plan to make a partition on my new 250GB SSD.

50GB: OS (8.1 Pro)

200GB: Programs

I know that it is not necessary to make partitions specially on SSD's but I love to see everything organized :)

My question. If I make a partition of 50GB for OS is that good enough to not worry about it? Microsoft says that the average size of 8.1 is 20GB so I guess it's more than enough...

A clean, brand new install of Win 8.1 Pro is ~18GB. I checked last time I installed it.
Once you start adding things, it builds. You can do it within 50GB, but before long you'll be managing that space more than using the PC.

If it was my system, I wouldn't.

Yes I know that some space is always "invisible". In my case I will just make a 50GB partition and the rest is what is left...

I thought so too.

I think I'm going to make 100GB partition for OS.
