Is an Asus H97-Pro Motherboard an overkill for my build?

I am planning to build my own gmaing rig. These are the parts that I am going to buy.
Asus H97-pro MotherBoard
Intel 4790K CPU
2 x 8GB RAM
2 x WD Blue HDDs
SAPPHIRE R9 290-TRI-X 4GB Graphics Card
Cooler Master V750 PSU

However I need to cheapen it up a little. I am thinking of getting an Asus H87-pro.
The difference between these 2 that I care about is
-Asus H97-pro has Fan Xpert 3 but H87-pro has Fan Xpert 2 (I think its important unless it can be upgraded?)
-Asus H97-pro has 6 Phase digital power design but H87-pro has only 4
-Asus H97-pro has Crystal Sound 2(Not sure whether its important)

Is it worth cheapening the H97-pro for the H87-pro?
I am currently not considering overclocking but I might overclock a little when the whole build gets too slow to play future games.

I will save USD$30 if I go for the H87-pro

Do suggest any other motherboards that are good too:)

Act auld it is not a good choice at all when you have an unlocked motherboard. The Z97 is more designed and specialised in the overclocking industries for Intel CPU. But if you are not overclocking, then remove the unlocked CPU and get a locked CPU.

If you get a H87 you will need to perform a BIOS update for the Haswell RefresH CPU.
