Hello , I'm planing to overclock , to get a bit more perfomance and , I was wondering , will overclocking the cpu drasticaly increase fps with this system ?

AMD Athlon X4 750K CPU ( cooler : CM hyper 212 evo )

MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Motherboard.

2GB Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X Graphics Card overclocked , core MHz set to 1150 ,
memmory clocked at 1490 , voltage 20+ (maxed out).

8GB Kingston Huper X DDR3 RAM 1866 MHz , NO overclock.

CoolerMaster Thunder 600W PSU.

A 3 year old 500GB drive from my previous System.

Windows 7 at 64-bit ( planing to upgrade to Windows 8.1 64-bit next month ).

Overcloking that chip will increase FPS but not drasticaly you might see 3-5fps boost in cpu intensive games like Battlefield 4.
If you're going to overclock monitor your temps are make sure they dont go higher than 65C on the core and 70C on the socket while stress testing.

not much but it will run better you will have smoother physics animations in games and as legend said 2 to 5 FPS increase

I've had overclocks on the CPU give up to 10 sometimes more frames.it was actively holding back ggaming performance so unless the CPU is bottlenecked now the gains won't show. It does help minimize and reduce dips (which you do notice ). Well worth it, def overclock a bit if you can .
