ow can if fix USB port not working

I have two usb port in my laptop. I try to open a file in my usb flash drive but it wont work. i look into the divice manager and their is an error on Intel(R)7 series/C216 chipset family USB Enhanced Host controller.

try this:
Delete the device from device manager. Say ok to delete associated files/drivers. Shut down the laptop when done.
Now power back on and let windows re-detect the usb port and re-install the drivers.


What laptop do you have that has a c216 chip in it?
