I have a few copies of Windows 8.1 Embedded Industry Pro lying around and I'm considering using a copy for my new gaming PC. My question is, will I be able to install Windows 8.1 Embedded Industry Pro on my desktop without any compatibility problems?

Solution
Yes, you absolutely can. I've been using 8.1 Embedded Industry Pro on my PC for nearly a year now with no problems. It runs and games flawlessly. The only hitch I've encountered was while installing it. For some reason installing it from USB doesn't work too well, so try to put it on a DVD instead.

Muchly thanking you!

This will save me so much hassle!
I will try and find a un-used DVD in my dad's stash of recorded TV programs!

If you don't already know how, make sure you read up on making bootable installation disks before you get started.
