Hi, hoping someone here can point me in the right direction with this...

CPU/Mem/MoBo are:

• AMD QUAD CORE FX-4100 3600MHz Bulldozer CPU
• 8GB DDR3 memory (2 x 4GB 1333MHz modules)
• ASUS M5A78L-M LX Motherboard

I have recently bought a new case in order to house more fans for cooling and was in the process of rehousing everything.

Everything was running 95% perfectly prior to the recasing. The only issue i was having was my new GFX card (Asus R9280X-DC2T-3GD5 1070MHz 3GB GDDR 5 PCI Express) was overheating when running certain games at top settings. Which was the reason I bought the new case and the only reason for the change.

However, following the move to the new case, the machine powers up. But will not boot, but nothing is displayed at all on either of the two monitors I currently have plugged in (one to the gfx card, the other to the mobo itself.)

I have gone through the steps here (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems) and have performed everything it says.

I have replaced the PSU and am still getting the same issues. And have also attached a mobo speaker, but am getting 0 beeps upon powering up.

Initially the standoffs were in the incorrect locations when I first moved the mobo to the new case. If this was the cause of the issue originally. Could it have completely fried the mother board and in which case is it this that will need replacing?

Hope that there is enough info here to give someone an idea of my issue so i can get it resolved. Appreciate any answers.

Thanks

It would have been touching incorrectly placed standoffs rather than the case itself, though I cant imagine this would be any better than on the case itself?
