Guyz i have my pc running for 4 years without any glitch.......suddenly i found that pressing the power button only makes all fans start & stop.........and this goes on till i unplug the power cord....
Then i took it to a repair shop & they said it had been a faulty mobo....so i changed my GA H55M USB3 mobo to an Intel DH55PJ board....and it ran smoothly for 3 days.......& now it's also having the same problem !!!!
Again i took it to a repair shop and they informed me that my PSU is bad so it destroyed the 2nd mobo too........
I have checked breadboard & still the same when anything is connected or not.
Today morning i again gave a try without my ram & tadaa...! It booted & gave long beeps showing signal of no ram installed.......but for the rest of the day i have been trying with or without ram......but the problem remains...
Would someone really give me a good reason why the same problem i'm facing..... ??
Any kind of help would be warmly accepted......

Solution
on a pc to get it to boot right on a power supply 24 pin cable the power good line has to have the right voltages for the cpu to turn on. if this line is low or high it could have burnt out your cpu. the other issue is the power supply or mb is seeing a dead short in your rig and is stopping itself from burning up. start with unplugging the gpu if you have one see if the pc post with video card post failure. if it still powers up and down without the gpu in then unplug the drives then the case fans and usb cables also look for any cut or shorted wires.
