Hi ppl!

So I am in the design stages with a friend who builds furniture.
He is building/designing me a desk that sits my PC in it.

Although we are in the early stages, one big question i have is about the power button and reset button.

How do i recreate these + hdd lights and stuff that i can put into my desk?

Ive seen some power switches on some websites but do i need a certain one.. with specific connectors on the back? nd which kind of lights could i use??

Anyone build a custom PC toggle before?

Solution
Ive used the power and reset buttons off an old Nintendo before. You have to mod the power button a little (pull a metal clip off) because you only need a momentary contact switch for the power button not an always on always off.

thanks guys, expanding on that, you just get some of the small cables that attach to the mobo and solder the ends onto whichever switch you use?

as for the rest button i guess thats the same? (momentary)

And finally i choose a ... Solid on off for LED power on and off?

and then for lights - to flicker for hhd lights, any specific size/kind i should be using?

for the lights you can use a standard 3mm led bulb, any color you want. Just make sure you plug them into the board right or they wont light up.

the motherboard will do all this for you, just plug the lights in to the correct spots
